Retired clients were getting tired of their detached property on a prominent corner plot, as it was no longer working for them due to the lack of natural light coming in to the property and restricted views on to their lawns. The brief was simple, “we like Oak and Glass . . . the rest is up to you”. Using a more cost effective steel frame, clad in Oak, we created a dramatic two storey front extension, that instantly gave the WOW factor as you step through the front door, with a vaulted double height space, over-looked by the glazed first floor balcony. The more impressive side extension, in the same style provides an extended Living Room with dual fires and sliding doors opening out on to the patio and main lawn. On the first floor, a Master Suite fitting for the property was created with substantial Dressing space leading on to the En-Suite. Bi-fold doors lead you out on to the glazed balcony over-looking the Main Lawn capturing those views and morning sun they desired.
